Whitetail + Wild Pig: Two Hunts, One Camp
Our Oklahoma Whitetail Deer Camp just got a little wilder.
This January, camp participants can hunt both whitetail deer and wild pigs in the same experience.
This camp has always been about more than filling a tag. We want hunters to understand the entire process, from the hunt to breaking down an animal, identifying individual cuts, cooking them, and ultimately putting more wild food on the table.
Adding wild pigs gives us another opportunity to do exactly that.
We’ll be pursuing quality Oklahoma whitetail does for the freezer while also targeting wild pigs, an invasive species that can cause significant damage to Oklahoma’s agricultural lands and native ecosystems.
Two species. Two very different animals to hunt, butcher, and cook. And a lot of great wild meat.
