First up, we have Jeff Benda’s recipe for Venison Cheeseburger Tater Tot Bites.

Jeff writes, “I created these Venison Cheeseburger Tater Tot Bites for a Super Bowl party appetizer idea. But when my 7-year-old daughter devoured half of them, I knew they were also perfect for a kid-friendly, weeknight meal!”
Tasty, unique, familiar, and super fun, these mini cheeseburgers will be devoured by any children they’re put in front of – set them out as an appetizer before the main event and watch them disappear!
Next, we have Justin Townsend’s recipe for Homemade Wild Fish Fingers with Tasty Mashed Potatoes.

Justin created this kid-friendly recipe during the quarantine of 2020. He writes, “Since we are all quarantined and the kids are climbing the walls, I figured I would create a delicious recipe that is kid-friendly, healthy, and easy to make. You can even batter the fish and freeze it until you need to bake. This recipe is intended to take the place of the traditional fish stick you get in the frozen food aisle. Using fresh wild, healthy fish will yield much better flavors while also satisfying the little creatures running amuck in your home.”
This recipe is good for any type of fish, whether it came from the ocean, the lake, or through the ice! The mashed potato recipe is also included, which should not be slept on – Justin is well-known for his excellent mashed potatoes. Serve this meal with corn on the cob for the perfect kid-friendly vegetable side.
Let’s not forget about dessert! Lastly, we have Katie Wiley’s Key Lime Blueberry Yogurt Bites.

If the time of the year is right, Katie suggests bringing your kids (and any other youngsters tagging along) to a U-Pick Blueberry farm to get the whole family involved in this delicious and unique dessert. The sweet and zingy tang of these bites will appeal to children and adults alike and are sure to be a hit!
Katie also lets us know just how healthy blueberries are. She writes, “Blueberries carry four essential nutrients including vitamin C, vitamin K, manganese and fibre – just one cup of blueberries contains a whopping 25% of our daily requirement of vitamin C supporting our immune health and necessary for the growth, development and repair of all body tissues; they’re loaded with 36% of our daily value of vitamin k which assists in blood clotting and works with calcium to build strong bones; 25% of our daily requirement of manganese which is essential for normal brain and nerve function and plays a role in fat and carbohydrate metabolism, calcium absorption, and blood sugar regulation; and blueberries help us meet our daily fibre requirement aiding in a healthy digestive system.”
We would suggest pairing this meal with the freshest of milk, served in a plastic cup, or better yet, freshly pressed wild fruit juice!
