2. New West Knife Works Outfitter 4” Knife

I carried this knife on my hip this last antelope season in Wyoming and used it to gut, skin, and process my entire antelope. NW Knife works sends a bandaid in the box when it ships with a warning of how sharp this knife is. They aren’t joking. Out of the box, this knife held its edge throughout the whole process and was easily sharpened after I finished. 9. Blaze Orange Stormy Kromer

I recently purchased this hat and absolutely love it! It kept my head warm while hunting late season elk in Wyoming and also could be worn on a hotter day in Easter Colorado. I chose to get the rancher hat because it had an extra ear flap and I don’t enjoy my ears getting cold.

10. Work Sharp Knife Sharpener

A sharp knife in the field can save your life. A sharp knife in the kitchen can save your knuckles and cut down on processing time. I used this knife at the BHA Rendezvous this year and it helped me get an edge on the competition at the wild game cooking contest where we took third place. It has an adjustable sharpening guide to produce precise edge bevels from 15° to 30° which is great for many types of knives and tools.
