“I am here to wage war on the bacon wrapped dove popper. There is nothing wrong with jalapenos, dove breasts, or bacon, cheese, or all those other things, but at some point its time to venture out of the nest and try something different… and this is that.”
This recipe uses dove breasts, pre-made croissant dough, and stone ground mustard. Its much better than a popper because it’s wellington. You can make these little delights on the grill, in the oven, or at camp in a Dutch oven. The only thing that could make this better is to add some cheese or mushrooms into the inside of the dough as you wrap. Play around with the recipe and let us know what you like best!
