Brandon Dale
Brandon grew up in South Louisiana camping, kayaking, hunting and fishing, and he is an avid fly-fisherman and hunter. Now living in NYC for graduate and medical school, he finds solace in the woods and waters of the Upstate NY, Hudson Valley, Long Island and Vermont.

He enjoys all outdoor pursuits, and is dedicated to conservation, education of new hunters & anglers and bringing new people into the outdoors. He is a board member of New York Backcountry Hunters and Anglers and the New York Ambassador for Hunters of Color.

Food is the major vehicle by which he introduces new people to hunting and fishing, and it’s an absolute love his mine to create, explore and improve new wild-game focused dishes. He’s heavily influenced by his native roots of Cajun-cuisine while also finding inspiration in the variety of foods, flavors and cuisine styles present in NYC. Wild game makes up 80% of his meals, and he’s excited to share an eclectic mix of recipes and adventures with the HN community.
